The undercard for the first ever CBS EliteXC primetime event will be available for free. ProElite.com, elitexc’s parent company will show the undercard matches in their entirety starting at 7 pm et this Saturday. In order to watch the stream you have to register for an account, which is free(do it now as it could be quite busy on Saturday.) After the entire program airs on CBS there will be an aftershow hosted by Frank Shamrock, who will also be commentating and interviewing for the show. The aftershow will be called “Backstage Pass” and will feature interviews, recaps and even a few special guests. The show takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on May 31.

The undercard porition of the show will also be available on CBS Mobile. CBS is showing a strong committment to the card, and to EliteXC as a promotion by airing commercials in good time slots, the primetime slot itself, and by using all the media options at it’s disposal. While CBS has something to lose by the show not performing well, EliteXC is basically hinging it’s survival on the show.
