Casey Olson
The Underdog Olson, who trained under Hackelman and Liddell, sets out to inspire
Former Fresno State wrestling star Casey "The Underdog" Olson Is one of the top fighter's in The Palace Fighting Championship in Lemoore, Olson started his mixed martial art's (MMA Training) under John Hackleman and Chuck Liddell at The Pit in San Luis Obispo in his spare time. Soon after, Olson took a leap of faith and left his job to dedicate his life to the sport. Olson's first MMA fight was in August of 2006. it ended in a knockout victory over Rolland Parli.
Olson's career highlight,to this point, Came in October of 2006 when he fought in front of hometown family and friends on a strikeforce card at the Save Mart Center, where he defeated Bobby Sanchez by Guillotine choke.
Olson had to make the best of an ankle injury last July, So he stepped up as a counselor of the Buchanan High School wrestling coaching staff "It was great to be back coaching" he said "My goal in MMA is to help people".
At 27 and already developing into a well rounded fighter. Casey Olson has the drive and determination to have a very successful career. "when I do things I want to be the best". He said "I want to win a championship, I want to help people. I want to inspire people to do better, and I can do that bybeing the best myself".
