TUF 7 is done and gone, and as far as MMA goes, the card was okay, but not great by any standards. The finale took place at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, and featured three fights that went the distance.
The undercard, however had some pop to them as the individual awards went to fights on that portion of the card. Dustin Hazelett must be happy as UFC President Dana White gave him a $40,000 bonus for his performance vs. Josh Burkman. Hazelett revieved $20,000 for his “Submission of the Night” and both he and Burkman took home $20,000 for “Fight of the night.”
Other bonuses went to Drew McFedries as he was awarded “Knockout of the Night” and added $20,000 to his salary for his knockout of Marvin Eastman.
