Brett Cooper def. Dustin Arden - KO 0:39 R2
In the Main-event the Pure Combat Welter-weight title was on the line as the champion Brett “Fudoshin” Cooper defended the belt against Dustin “Rooster” Arden. The 1st round saw Arden throwing combos and getting the better of the few exchanges there was, Arden seemed to have the 1st round in the bag until Cooper caught him with a punch rocking him in to the cage as the bell rang to end the 1st round. In the 2nd round Arden came out with the same plan when Cooper caught him with a right hook that knocked Arden out in the 2nd round giving Cooper the win to retain his welter-weight championship.
Elvis Franco def. Hector Alatorre - Submission (Guillotine Choke) 3:36 R2
In the co-main event The pride of Tulare Hector Alatorre faced Elvis Franco in a re-match from Pure Combat “Lights Out” where they fought to a draw.
Alatorre was impressive in the 1st round landing punches and getting the better of the ground game as well, manews.tk had the 1st round for Alatorre
Alatorre almost finished Franco as he was punishing him with punches in full mount, the 2nd round Alatorre took Franco down immediately which played into Franco’s game as he caught Alatorre in a guillotine forcing him to tap in the 2nd round and getting the victory over Alatorre.
Jesse Bowen def. Daniel Pinedo - Submission (Triangle Choke) 1:40 R1
Visalia’s Dan Pinedo took on Merced’s Jesse Bowen in a 125 lb fight. It was a short night for Pinedo as he was caught in triangle choke that Bowen locked up forcing Pinedo to tap 1:40 into the 1st round
David Granados def. Brandon Miller - TKO (Doctor Stoppage) 2:17 R2
In a 135lb match-up Merced’s David Granados took on Tulare’s Brandon Miller, Granados came out unloading his arsenal at will causing a cut on Miller’s right eye that the referee had the doctor look at in the 1st round and was able to continue in to the 2nd round where Granados targeted the cut causing the doctor to look over the cut again and then stop the fight, giving Granados the win in the 2nd round by tko.
Zach Trammel def. Joe Chaidez - Unanimous Decision
Stockton’s Zach Trammel was able to get the decision victory over Tulare’s Joe Chaidez, Trammel won the ground battle in all 3 rounds, Chaidez rocked Trammel in the 3rd but he was able to pull through and get the unanimous decision.
Jared Papazian def. Josh Chavez - Unanimous Decision
The lightweight’s took the stage again as Josh Chaves went up against Jared Papazian, after 3 rounds of action Papazian was awarded the unanimous decision improving his record to 2-1
Houston Smith def. Eli Moreno -Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) 0:40 R1
The middle-weights made a quick appearance as Visalia’s Eli Moreno faced off against Houston Smith, it only took 40 seconds for Smith to lock in the rear naked choke forcing Moreno to tap in the 1st round.
Joe Moreles def. Raul Rodriguez - Unanimous Decision
In a light-weight fight Joe Morales took on Bakersfield’s Raul Rodriguez in a fight that went all 3 rounds. Morales got the decision due to his takedowns and winning the ground battle, all 3 rounds were in favor of Morales to give him the unanimous decision.
Robert Trujillo def. George Albanez - TKO (Strikes) 2:15 R2
The night started with a light-heavy weight match-up as Hanford’s Robert Trujillo 0-0 made his MMA debut against Porterville’s 3-1George Albanez.
Trujillo was able to ground and pound Albanez to win by KO 2:15 in round 2.
