The Randy Couture rumor mill continues to turn and while most expect him to return to the UFC for at least one fight, MMARated is reporting that Couture is contemplating a three-fight contract. Here’s the blurb:
"Randy Couture is on the verge of agreeing to this new contract with the UFC that will see him make his return to the Octagon at UFC 91 on November 15th against Brock Lesnar. As part of this new agreement, Couture has been offered a new three-fight deal with the UFC, thus terminating his old contract that had two fights remaining on it."
If all goes well over the weekend, multiple sources have informed us that the UFC is hoping to make this announcement on Tuesday
This could be big news as Couture would more than likely fight Brock Lesnar, then perhaps(don’t hold your breath)Fedor Emelianenko and finally Big Nog. In any case any return to the octagon by Couture would be viewed as a distinct victory for the UFC and Dana White.
